“We certainly had a vision for such a growth area,” recalls Scott Gibbons, the Gibbons Group CEO. “We had a prior relationship with The Warehouse after working with them on other stores in the South Island and we’re excited to bring our family values and sustainable processes to the growing area of Mt Wellington.”
The Gibbons Group’s special touch is all over Stoneridge. They took a holistic approach throughout the whole process, drilling right down to understand exactly what it was that local customers wanted. They knew that Stonefields needed a lifestyle neighbourhood centre where people could experience a range of activities and dining options, so set about securing tenancies to complement The Warehouse in the new precinct.
